PCSO gives P10.2-M aid to quake victims in South

The extent of destruction brought about by recent earthquakes in Mindanao was personally witnessed by General Manager Royina Garma of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) when she and other PCSO officials recently went to affected areas to donate a total of P10.2 million (P10 million in calamity assistance and P200,000 worth of medicines) to the stricken areas.

Seeing the devastation of pieces of property and the health risks posed to the survivors of the temblors, Garma, according to a statement, pledged to increase the PCSO donation for both North Cotabato and Davao del Sur.

The charity fund to be raised for the November 10, 2019 Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw shall be divided and distributed to the two areas.

True to its slogan, every peso donated by the agency shall go to the improvement of infrastructure and the uplifting of lives in Mindanao.
