Third Bong Pineda Cup opens December 18 in Lubao

The third edition of the Bong Pineda Cup will unfold on December 18 to 21 at the Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club in Lubao, Pampanga.

Over P10 million worth of prizes, including a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser, are at stake in the four-day tournament .

A Toyota Vios will also be raffled off to participating golfers and guests. Listed as hole-in-one prizes are a Club Golf Cart, a Foton SUV, P100,000 cash, and 100,000 non-cashable Royce Hotel chips.

Registration fee for golfers is P8,000, inclusive of raffle entry to the grand prize, one free practice round, golf voucher worth P5,000, awarding dinner buffet, green fee, use of golf cart, and giveaways.

The event will follow a Modified Stableford Molave scoring system.


Classifications will be based on players’ handicap. Six categories will be featured namely Class A, B, C, Ladies, Seniors (55 to 65 years.), and Super Seniors (65-and-above).

Double barrel tee off during the first three days starts at 6:00 a.m., while the last day will employ a double shotgun tee off at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Non-golfers may join the grand raffle draw by purchasing a ticket worth P2,000, inclusive of one-time entry and awarding dinner buffet.

Fellowship and awarding rites will be held on December 21 at 5 p.m. at the Pradera Clubhouse.
