THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is studying the application for safeguard measures on imported automobiles, an official said over the weekend.
“The DTI through the Bureau of Import Services (BIS) is currently assessing the application for safeguard duty on imported automobiles filed by the Philippine Metal Workers Alliance (PMA),” Trade Undersecretary Ceferino Rodolfo said in an interview.
