Robredo can scrap ‘Tokhang’ – Palace

Malacañang on Monday said Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo can stop the implementation of Oplan Tokhang if she has a better strategy to fight the drug menace.

“If she wants to scrap it, eh siya ang (she is the) anti-drug czar, kung sa tingin niya meron pang mas effective sa ‘Tokhang,’ eh di gawin nya (if she thinks there is something more effective than Tokhang, she can do it),” Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo said on Monday.
