2 Indonesian Navy ships to visit PH on Monday

TWO Indonesian Navy ships are scheduled for a goodwill visit to Manila on Monday.
Lt. Cmdr. Maria Christina Roxas, spokesman of the Philippine Navy, said the ships — KRI Bung Tomo (357) and KRI Sultan Iskandar Muda (367) —would dock at Pier 15 at 7 a.m.
Ranking officials of the Philippine Navy are expected to welcome the ships’ crew and officers.
In August, the KRI Bima Suci (945), one of the Indonesian Navy’s largest ships, docked in Manila for a goodwill visit.
A goodwill visit consists of various activities between the visiting navy and the host navy such as cultural and sports exchange, goodwill games, pre-coordination meeting, ship tour, and receptions, among others.
