As the demand for trucks for companies increase, so does the call for body builders/heavy trail manufacturers who provide designated bodies for a specific purpose.
Pioneer Heavy Trailers is a division of Pioneer Trucks company which provides body building services from 10-foot closed van bodies to 50-foot trailer wing-van boxes to suit the needs of logistics and transportation companies.
“Innovation is one of the key points of our company which also had become our philosophy. Innovation is needed for everything from listening to our customers to our execution of these ideas,” said Noel Zingapan, GM of Pioneer Heavy Trailers.
Their aluminum bodies are easy to clean and maintain, and can without the tests of time. It also allows the box to be lightweight without putting much strain on the truck while maximizing cargo capacity. Individual panels allow the boxes to be height adjustable and easy to repair, allowing for faster fabrication of parts. They can be configured to customer specifications to either a side door, a wing box or a conventional rear-door layout.
For the Coca-Cola fleet, Pioneer Heavy Trailers installed a set of JOST heavy parts and equipment such as axles, Tridem suspension kit, king pin, landing leg, PNW lighting systems and the Wheel Nut Indicators for safety, to check if the wheel lug nuts have loosened.
Local production facilities, with help from strategic partnerships from various countries, are built and assembled to keep them affordable—as they are built “by the Filipino, for the Filipino. “An important factor that we offer is the fast assembly of aluminum vans and cargo boxes due to our ISO-certified assembly equipment and trained personnel,” added the company.
“Everyone in Pioneer is determined to provide new ideas for product and manufacturing improvements, and we believe in a customer-oriented approach,” the company added.
