Mayor Toby Tiangco led the inauguration of various facilities in the city.

The city opened two child-minding rooms at Navotas Vocational Training and Assessment (Navotaas) Institute-Annex I at Brgy. NBBS Dagat-dagatan and Annex II at Brgy. Daanghari.

“A number of Navoteños wish to enroll in tech-voc courses but unable to do so because they have no one to attend to their kids. By having child-minding rooms, parents would be able to join classes knowing their children are safe and cared for,” Mayor Toby Tiangco said.

Navotas also inaugurated the third floor of the NAVOTAAS Institute-Annex I extension. The facility, whose first two levels were donated by the Chinese-Filipino Business Club, Inc., will offer courses on tailoring and dressmaking.

The city also opened the Pescador Park at Brgy. Bangkulasi, which features a half basketball court and a mini-amphitheater.

“Parks are valuable to the overall well-being of our people. This is why we strive to make the most out of our limited open spaces,” Tiangco said.
