THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Monday said that more than 500 barangay (villages) in 14 cities in Metro Manila are vulnerable to floods and landslides.

MMDA General Manager Jose Arturo “Jojo” Garcia Jr., citing data from Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB), said that 579 villages are prone to floods and landslides.
