The country’s unemployment rate dropped to 4.5 percent in October, down from last year’s 5.1 percent and the lowest rate recorded since 2005, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported.

Results of the latest Labor Force Survey (LFS) released on Thursday showed the number of persons unemployed was at 2.050 million, down by 7.0 percent from last year’s 2.203 million.
