While maintaining the shopping fun SM has been associated with for many years, the new SM Store at the East Wing of the Estancia Mall, Ortigas Center is elegantly designed to align itself with the character, philosophy and construction standards of the mall.
Creating retail synergy and a more diverse shopping experience in the area, the 12,700 square-meter three-level store is the 65th branch of The SM Store chain in the mall that is part of the Capitol Commons Group, a joint venture of SM, Ortigas and Ayala.
New design elements make the Estancia branch more appealing to upscale customers. Instead of the usual bright colors, there are a lot of black fixtures, and the merchandising fixtures spacing is more aligned with high end store design standards giving a more relaxed feel and easier flow.
Natural stones such as marble and some custom-made metal finishes create sophisticated look, and modern pop-ups visual merchandising.
Lighting has been designed for aesthetics, as well as easy shopping, introducing a bit of drama instead of the usual flat lighting approach. Theatrical lighting creates ambiance as light levels are lowered down to accent merchandise and displays. Modern chandeliers in the atrium elicit a romantic feel to shoppers.
SM Store’s services go beyond shopping. Customers can pay their bills and exchange foreign currency as well as enjoy the convenience of a Gift Registry all in one stop.
To give patrons to enjoy the perks of the season, customers with a minimum P3,000 single-receipt purchase made until December 31 using SMAC gives everyone a chance to be among 100 lucky individuals to win shopping money worth P10,000.
