TO ensure that the more than 1.8 million households affected by the onslaught of Typhoon “Tisoy” (international name: “Kammuri”) will have electricity ahead of Christmas, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian has called on the National Electrification Administration (NEA) to use the Electric Cooperatives Emergency and Resiliency Fund (ECERF) and provide immediate financial assistance to electric cooperatives (ECs) for the rehabilitation of power lines and other damaged electricity infrastructure.
