Seeing her mother being victimized by holdupper as child led 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) gold medalist Jeordan Dominguez to taekwondo.

“I started young in taekwondo. I was persuaded by my mom because of our bad experience then. She was robbed by holdappers and we were with her,” narrated Dominguez, who ruled the men’s individual freestyle poomsae on Saturday in his SEAG debut.
