A toddler died and one was injured after a fire broke out in Taguig City on Saturday morning, The Bureau of Fire and Protection-National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) said.

The child was identified as Precious Clarisa Parcarey, 3, and the injured was John Rey Vendevil.

The BFP-NCR said 200 families were affected by the incident.

Damage to property was estimated at P350,000.

The fire started at 8:26 a.m. on the second floor of a house owned by Norie Maglanoc along 31 Maestrang Pinang Street in Purok Pulang Araw at Barangay Ligid Tipas.

Fire was declared out at 10:20 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. DARWIN PESCO
