IBARRA M. Gonzalez, Ph.D., or Dr. Nim as he is fondly called, spent many years in the Society of Jesus, where he wore many hats: vocation director, chairman of the Ateneo de Manila University’s Department of Communication, retreat director, Sunday priest and head of two nongovernment organizations. But after over three decades in the religious order, he gave up the priesthood to continue his journey of following God’s will.
