ISRAEL is now a major importer of Philippine desiccated coconut, dried fruits and nuts, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

The Export Marketing Bureau of the Department of Trade and Industry reported that desiccated coconut is the fifth top export of the Philippines to Israel in 2018 valued at $4.67 million from $3.07 million in 2017, or a 52 percent increase.
