THE Bureau of Customs - Port of Manila (BoC-POM) seized 48 container vans of smuggled refined sugar worth at least P54 million in one of the biggest hauls so far this year by the government in terms of volume and value.
Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero said on Tuesday that the shipment arrived on different occasions at the PoM from China.
