SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong Go” has warned illegal medical fixers from taking advantage of the Malasakit Center program.
“Binabalaan ko po ang mga illegal fixers. Mayroon po tayong batas laban sa mga manloloko (I am warning the illegal fixers. We have an existing law against cheaters) ,” Go said, referring to Republic Act (RA) 9485, or the “Anti-Red Tape Act,” which punishes fixers, including government employees engaging in illicit transactions with fixers.
