2 foreign employees nabbed for qualified theft

TWO foreigners were arrested on Thursday night for allegedly stealing money from the company they were working for.

Police identified the suspects as Wu Wen, 33; and Shao Yongtao, 39, both Chinese who worked for Alpha Vertex Consultancy Inc. at Macapagal Blvd. in Pasay City.

According to a report from Pasay City police, the two took P756,000 from the company vault.

The theft was discovered during a routine frisking by Giller Juanico and Madani Biando, both security guards, on the employees.

The suspects will be charged with qualified theft. They are now detained at the Pasay City police station.
