LOS ANGELES: Phil Mickelson says despite his fast-approaching 50th birthday he’s determined to stay on the US PGA Tour while he can “bomb” golf balls and yearns for a Ryder Cup berth.

“When I stop hitting bombs I’ll play the (50-and-over) Champions Tour,” Mickelson said Wednesday.
