PHILIPPINE shares on Friday trailed the majority of their regional peers as it ended the shortened trading week in the green, still cashing in on the recently signed trade pact between the United States and China.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange (PSEi) surged by 0.91 percent or 69.40 points to close at 7,722.58, while the wider All Shares rose 0.45 percent or 20.19 points to finish at 4,551.19.
