Hometown hero Larry Muyang sank the go-ahead basket as host Pampanga pulled off a stunning 82-79 come-from-behind win over Batangas-Tanduay in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Lakan Cup on Thursday night at the Angeles University Foundation Gym.
The Kapampangan bruiser Muyang scored off Jeric Fabian’s pass, 81-79, with 12.4 seconds left in the extra period, lifting the Giant Lanterns to 19-4, good for No. 5 in the Northern Division of the Chooks to Go-backed league.
