The national average farmgate price of palay (unmilled rice) continued to decrease in late December last year, posting an annual rate of 22.4 percent or P15.63 per kilo from its level of P20.14 per kilo in 2018, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said.
Compared to its level in the previous week, it likewise dropped by 0.2 percent from P15.66 per kilo.
