THE last week saw more “plastics” news spilling out, at least from my home country of Malaysia. Certainly not the first Southeast Asian country to do so, but Malaysia under the new government has taken resolute steps to repatriate containers of mainly plastic wastes or refuse to their countries of origin, mostly the more advanced countries in the world.
