TUGUEGARAO CITY: An eight-year-old boy on Sunday died instantly after his 12-year-old playmate accidentally shot him in the head with a 12-gauge shotgun at San Gabriel village in this city, police said on Monday.
Police Lt. Isabelita Gano, Tuguegarao police spokesman, said the 12-year-old boy found the shotgun at the back of an air-conditioning unit and had mistakenly thought it was a toy.
