THE Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) Philippines has denounced the paramilitary group Alamara’s alleged raiding of United Church of Christ in the Philippine’ (UCCP) Haran Mission Center in Davao City over the weekend.
Vladimer Quetua, ACT-National Capital Region (NCR) union president, in a statement said the mission center serves as a sanctuary to over 500 lumad (indigenous people) evacuees from Talaingod, Davao del Norte, of whom 236 are children and infants.
