ZAMBOANGA CITY: Communist insurgents ambushed a police convoy on Wednesday, leaving four casualties in the southern Philippine province of Bukidnon, officials said.
Officials said the attack in Talakag town killed Corporal Roel Sumaylo. Three other policemen were wounded in the New People's Army (NPA) ambush.
