Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go is no longer the special assistant to his longtime friend and mentor President Rodrigo Duterte, he and his former boss are still working together to develop and implement policies and services that address critical needs in the country. Upon the recommendation of Senator Go, the President set in motion a plan to develop liver transplant capabilities in the Philippines, with the ultimate goal of equipping the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) to be able to perform the procedure.
