The accredited group of agriculture and biosystems engineers (ABEs) in the Philippines believes stakeholders in the farm and fisheries sector should be updated and open on developments from the Fourth Industrial Revolution (FiRE), as it could benefit local food production and agro-industrialization.

Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (PSABE) President Dennis Tactac said the country cannot lag behind in the adoption of technologies from FiRE, especially the agriculture sector.
