COTABATO CITY: Shinichi Kitaoka, Japan International Coordination Agency (JICA) president, last February 4 gave recognition to Chief Minister Ahod Al Haj Murad Ebrahim of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) for his contribution to peace and development in the Bangsamoro region in southern Philippines.
JICA is a government agency that coordinates official development assistance (ODA) for the Japanese government.
