Filipino dishes with a twist served at par with world’s best

IN 2017 — and five years earlier to be exact — Filipino cuisine was being touted as the next big thing to hit the global culinary stage.

An article in Vogue Daily online titled “How Filipino food is becoming the next great American cuisine” mentioned that “the intricate pattern of Spanish, Western, Chinese, Japanese and Pacific Islander flavors serve as living proof of the Philippines’ rich cultural history.” This makes Filipino food often called the original fusion cuisine.
