ABS-CBN Corp. President and CEO Carlo Lopez Katigbak led the 11,000 employees of the television network on Thursday in expressing gratitude to the people for allowing the station to be of service to them.

In his first appearance since Solicitor General Jose Calida filed a quo warranto petition before the Supreme Court questioning the media conglomerate's franchise, Katigbak said there was no reason to close down ABS-CBN as he asked for prayers over an uncertain future the network faced beyond March 30 when its license to operate would have lapsed.
