Ever since I was a kid, my dad always gave my siblings and I the monthly issue of the National Geographic magazine, and just being able to see the beautiful photographs and read the visceral stories behind these images in fine print absolutely amazed me. From Everest to Antarctica, from giraffes to elephants — it didn’t take long before I completely fell in love with these vibrant images and stories tucked between its pages. I was constantly inspired by the best travel photographers and journalists all around the world like Cory Richards, Paul Nicklen, Ami Vitale and Steve McCurry, making me fall in love with the whole art itself — I won’t stop loving photography as it is and what it is to become.
