The worsening situation from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) led the local bourse to end in the red territory for second straight trading day.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) fell 2.47 percent or 182.34 points to close at 7,187.44 while the wider All Shares plunged 1.87 percent or 81.34 points to finish at 4,265.42 on Monday.
