Delays in San Miguel Corp.’s (SMC) airport and infrastructure project — in addition to blanket impact of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak on the local bourse — worries investors, with shares declining by over 5 percent week-on-week.

On Friday, the Ramon Ang-led conglomerate saw its shares slide by P5.70 or 4.32 percent to finish at P126.20 apiece amid the 2.58-percent plunge for the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index.
