The British Council and the Department of Science and Technology (DoST), through the DoST-Newton Fund Program, awarded P20-million research and studentship grants to six Filipino women on February 26 at the Marco Polo Hotel, Makati City.
The six grantees were granted three-year funding for them to take doctoral degrees in their chosen universities in the United Kingdom in relation to accomplishing the research proposals they submitted to the Newton Fund.
