URDANETA, Pangasinan: Agriculture Secretary William Dar said on Thursday the losses farmers incurred a year after Republic Act 11203, or the Rice Tariffication Law, was implemented amounted to P8.2 billion, refuting reports that they lost as much as P68 billion in profit.
In his speech during the celebration of the law’s first year here, Dar said the amount was from March 2019 to date.
