TRANSPORTATION Secretary Arthur Tugade and his team deserve a lot of credit for pushing for the expansion of rail systems in and around the Greater Manila Area. It will make a huge difference in the coming years. But it won’t be enough or come early enough.
If we place all our eggs in the rail basket, we would get to the end of 2022 and most likely see no meaningful improvement in the commuting experience.
