Selective SRP imposition ‘unfair’ – farmers’ group

THE Department of Agriculture’s (DA) move to exempt supermarkets from the imposition of suggested retail prices (SRPs) on basic agri-fishery products is unjust and should be corrected, according to the Federation of Free Farmers (FFF).

In an interview with The Manila Times on Tuesday, FFF National Manager Raul Montemayor said “it's unfair to apply the SRP selectively.”
