Broadcast giant ABS-CBN has temporarily banned studio audience from watching its shows because of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) emergency.

In a statement, the network said it will not accept any studio audience for its live shows “Its Showtime,” Magandang Buhay,” and “ASAP Natin ‘To”, as well as pre-taped shows “Banana Sundae” and “I Can See Your Voice.”

Noontime show “Eat Bulaga” earlier banned audience entry in its APT Studios complex in Cainta also because of the disease.

On Monday, President Rodrigo Duterte suspended classes in Metro Manila until March 14. RED MENDOZA
