PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has expressed confidence that powerful countries such as Russia, the United States (US) and Japan could develop a vaccine against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) "in a matter of days."
Speaking before the country's mayors in an assembly in Pasay City on Tuesday night, Duterte said the best and brightest scientific minds were expected to work "overtime" for a potential vaccine amid the global outbreak of the deadly disease.
