CORN farmers in Diffun town, Quirino province have forged a supply agreement with one of the biggest snack producers in the Philippines.
The Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division of the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2) helped forge the supply agreement between the Diffun Saranay Development Cooperative (Disadeco) and Manila-based Nacho King. DA-RFO2 has jurisdiction over Region 2 (Cagayan Valley).
