SOCIAL distancing is the best strategy for countries and individuals to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), more and more public health officials, epidemiologists, and even big-data analysts are saying.
“Social distancing” is a fancy term for avoiding crowds and limiting one’s social interactions. Intuitively, except for two exceptions since February, my wife and I have been observing “social distancing,” together of course with a vigorous hand-washing routine. Sorry to my relatives and friends, I begged off attending their birthday parties and get-togethers. One can’t be too careful these days.
