THE Philippine peso dropped to its lowest level in over two weeks, retreating to P51 against the United States dollar on Friday.

After opening at P51.25, the peso lost 18 centavos to close at P51.03. It was its weakest finish since the P51.035-is-to-$1 closing on February 26.
