SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go said on Thursday that the Department of Finance (DoF) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) agreed in principle to his appeal to extend by one month the deadline of the filing of the Income Tax Returns (ITRs).“After discussing the matter with President Rodrigo Duterte and Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd, the DoF and the BIR have agreed in principle to my appeal to extend by one month the said deadline to May 15,” Go said in a statement.
