THE Senate is set to hold a special session on Monday to tackle a proposed bill allowing the release of an emergency fund from the unused 2019 budget to address the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) epidemic.
Senate President Vicente Sotto 3rd said the special session would start at 10 a.m. but it would be brief. He hopes to pass the measure in one day.
