The Association of Pagcor-Accredited Pogo Service Providers has donated P150 million worth of medicines, medical equipment and food supplies through the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) as initial contribution to the national government in its effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
This was disclosed yesterday by Atty. Margarita Gutierrez who said that aside from the P150 million donation (150k food packs worth P60M and medical supplies and equipment worth P90M), several members of the association also gave financial assistance to local government units to support their bid to provide food packs to their constituents. They likewise donated to these LGUs medicines, face masks, alcohol products, hand sanitizers and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), among others.
