ONE of the top cardiologists in the Philippines and among the frontliners against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) passed away.
Dr. Raul Diaz Jara, former president of the Philippine Heart Association (PHA), died from "multiple complications" aggravated by Covid-19, Dr. Joel Abanilla, Philippine Heart Center (PHC) executive director, said in a radio DZBB interview on Tuesday.
