AS we enter the third week of enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, there are no indications that the rate of transmission of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is slowing down. In fact, it had the biggest number of new deaths and confirmed cases on Saturday.
As of 4 p.m. on March 28, the Department of Health (DoH) reported 272 new positive Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 1,075 since the first case was confirmed on January 30. There were 14 additional deaths, bringing the total to 68, while four have recovered.
