LGU passes not necessary in checkpoints -- Eleazar

QUARANTINE passes from the local government units (LGUs) are not necessary in passing through the checkpoints, the Philippine National Police (PNP) clarified on Wednesday.According to PNP Deputy for Operations, Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, quarantine passes were not required for people to pass the Quarantine Control Points (QCPs).

"Kahit ano pang mga passes na binibigay ng LGUs, Hindi yan kailangan pagdaan nila sa QCPs [No matter what type of passes the LGUs issue. These are not needed when people pass the QCPs]," Eleazar said in a statement.
