THE city council passed resolution 260 on March 20 in response to the call of Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez for the lessor of commercial establishments in the city to consider granting reprieve in favor of tenant – establishments of their rental fees including interest and penalties as many of these small businesses will be closed following the proclamation of enhanced community quarantine. Resolution 254 was also passed to return the favor by way of extending the deadline of payment of business taxes for the second quarter of taxable year 2020 from April to July without additional penalties and surcharges.
